For one day each year, the Human2Human Summit brings the live-experience industry into a single room in Dubai. The conversations that start there rarely finish there. They spill into the foyer, carry on over coffee and, too often, stop when everyone flies home. The H2H Community exists so that they do not have to.
This is the year-round home of H2H: a place to keep talking, compare notes and build on what we hear on the summit stage. Welcome. We are glad you are here.
Why a community
The idea at the heart of H2H is simple. As the world becomes more digital, face-to-face experiences become more valuable, not less. The organisers call human connection "the ultimate currency", and the 2026 keynotes explored that idea from several angles: next-generation audiences, the role of technology in human connection, and the future of live-engagement ecosystems.
The second edition, held on 15 January 2026 in the Al Multaqua Ballroom at Dubai World Trade Centre, fitted nine sessions, keynotes, roundtables and networking into a single day. There was no exhibition. The day was built around content and conversation, which is exactly what this community is designed to extend.
One line from the day sums up our view of technology: "AI cleans the path, humans walk it." It summed up five principles for using AI in live experiences, and it applies here too. Digital tools can make it easier to find the right people and the right information. The value still comes from the people.
Who it is for
The H2H Community is for senior leaders of:
- exhibition organisers
- venues
- visitor attractions
- conference producers
- event-technology companies
These sectors rarely share a room, yet they face the same questions: how audiences are changing, what people expect from an in-person experience, and how AI and technology can strengthen human connection rather than replace it.
That overlap is the point. A theme-park operator and a trade-show organiser may have more in common than they think. As we see it, both ask people to give up their time and show up in person. Both are working out where technology helps and where it gets in the way.
Whether you were in the ballroom in January or are new to H2H, you belong here.
The four things members do
Through the year, this is where members:
- Exchange ideas and practical lessons with peers across the live-experience sector: what worked, what did not, and what they would do differently next time.
- Explore research and data on how audiences and in-person engagement are changing. The 2026 summit looked at exhibitor satisfaction data from 2017 to 2024, which showed sentiment improving after COVID and positioned in-person experience as a premium product. That is the kind of evidence we want to keep examining together.
- Continue the discussions started on the summit stage. Take the ADIPEC story: a show that grew to 239,000 visitors by investing in content rather than margin. What would that choice look like in your business?
- Help shape the themes and content of future H2H editions. A Dubai 2027 edition is planned, and the format has already travelled, with H2H Italia held at VicenzaOro, Vicenza, on 8 September 2026. The questions raised here can inform what comes next.
How to start
Ask Amal
Start with a question. Amal is the community's AI assistant, and you can ask it anything about H2H: the summit, its themes and what is coming next. It is a quick way in, and a fair illustration of the principle above. Amal clears the path; the conversations that matter happen between members.
Read the Insights
The Insights section collects recaps and analysis. If you missed January, begin with the summit recap and the 2026 day in pictures.
Connect with peers
Use Connect to find members in other sectors. The most useful conversation you have this year may well be with someone who runs a completely different kind of experience.
Propose a topic
Tell us what deserves attention. Get involved explains how members take part, including how to put forward the themes you want explored.
A word on how we talk
This is a community of peers. Be generous with what you know and candid about what has not worked: that is how people in different sectors learn from each other. Before you post, take a minute with the community rules.
Join the conversation
Let us begin with one question. Which challenge in your part of the industry do you suspect another sector has already solved? Share it in response to this article, then find someone from that sector through Connect and ask them.
If you would like to know more about how the community works, read About the community. To see where H2H goes next, visit What's next, and keep an eye on registration for the next edition. When you have a topic you want on the agenda, get involved.
We look forward to hearing from you.
This is awesome!
